UNESCO course on Media and Information Literacy

I see that UNESCO has launched a free online course that supports Media and Information Literacy and Intercultural Dialogue. "The course which is designed for teachers, policy makers and professionals will be offered over 13 weeks, from February 25 to May 31, 2013 and will be led by the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia." The blurb says "The online course is part of UNESCO’s strategy to foster media and information literacy in societies and will focus on the following subjects: Intercultural dialogue and citizenship; freedom of expression, freedom of information and understanding the news; representation and languages in media and information; advertising and citizenship; information literacy and library skills; communication; MIL and teaching/learning; MIL policies and strategies; citizens and the media and technologies; global media/technologies in an increasingly connected world; and  Internet opportunities and challenges."

  1. The obvious distinction with conventional and internet based degrees will be the place. As opposed to a conventional degree obtained in college campus, on the web degrees offer you versatility in specific location. Because of this, somebody will be able to enroll in universities they don't have entry to as a consequence of geographical constraints. You've Got To See This for more details.

  4. You actually make it look so easy with your performance but I find this matter to be actually something which I think I would never comprehend. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me. I'm looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it! David Hoffmeister blog
